Jacqueline Kennedy was a remarkable woman because she endured good and bad times with grace and elegance. In just a few years of living in the White House she accomplished much to make the amazing mansion her own. An extremely hard worker, she helped her husband in the election bed for his Presidential office. I believe that she was a great role model for women who have followed her.

Jacqueline Lee Kennedy lived a life that never stopped changing and was very dynamic from the day she was born. Her birthdate is July 28, 1929 in Southampton, New York. She was named after her father as Jacqueline Lee Bouvier. She lived a privileged life with her sister and parents until she was seven. At that time, her parents divorced which had a very negative impact on Jacqueline's life, but she found sympathy in her sister and their many pets. As for her schooling and other activities, Jacqueline attended poshe schools and studied ballet. Upon graduation from George Washington University, she became a reporter in Washington D.C. In 1951 she met her future husband, John F. Kennedy who was a U.S. Congressman, and on September 12, 1953, she married John F. Kennedy in Newport, Rhode Island. Three years later, she gave birth to her first child, who was stillborn. Luckily, a year later Jacqueline again gave birth to her first daughter named Caroline. Weeks before John F. Kennedy's inauguration as the 35th President of the United States Jacqueline delivered a son, John F. Kennedy Jr. As First Lady, she redecorated the White House which she thought looked delapitated . Again, Jacqueline's life had another negative event occur when John was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. Several years later, Jacqueline married Aristole Onassis. Soon she divorced Aristole Onassis and moved back to New York as an editor. Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis died on May 19, 1994 in New York, New York after strugaling through an affliction of cancer.

Jacqueline Kennedy was very notable for her many special talents. One of these notary gifts was as a book editor and reporter. Although she passessess many reasons for being famous, the one that I find very interesting and unique is that she was John F. Kennedy's First Lady. This is very interesting to me because she worked so hard and was dedicated to her position. She was willing to help anyone in any way she could. She would also treat the White House as a project in finding the perfect way to decorate it. While living in the White House, she formed the White House Historical Association that secured $50,000 contribution to the White House from "Life" Magazine to fund a major restoration project to the mansion. IN addition to, she was very intelligent and wrote books. You could always tell by looking at her that she loved what she did and who she was because she never looked frustated.

I find Jacqueline Kennedy a remarkable woman. She was a great role model, and I think many people can feel the same. She was a very wonderful woman and was never reluctant to help anyone in need. Jacqueline Kennedy will always be remembered for her grace and charm. And most women today should really look back and meditate on life back then.
